Sustainable development policy

Designing professional equipment built to last

At QUARTZ PRECISION, environmental, social and economic responsibility informs our design, manufacturing and service decisions. Our priority is to provide robust, maintainable equipment suited to intensive use.

As a French manufacturer of shooting-range equipment and training systems for professionals, institutions and clubs, we follow a practical approach: reduce avoidable impacts, extend product life and continuously improve our practices.

01

Eco-design and service life

We seek simple, robust and repairable architectures. Wear parts and replaceable components help keep equipment in service and reduce premature replacement.

02

Controlled materials and manufacturing

Design and production are managed from our workshop in Brittany, France. Cutting optimisation, accurate material planning and the sorting of metal offcuts support a more efficient use of resources.

03

Responsible packaging and logistics

We match packaging to the protection actually required, favour reusable or recyclable solutions and consolidate shipments whenever project constraints and lead times allow.

04

People, ethics and governance

Workplace safety, skills development, fair business relationships, regulatory compliance and vigilance when selecting partners are integral to our approach.

A life-cycle approach

Sustainable performance goes beyond manufacturing. It begins when the need is defined and continues throughout use, maintenance and end-of-life management.

1. RequirementRight-size the solution and avoid over-equipment.
2. DesignOptimise materials, disassembly and maintenance.
3. ProductionControl processes and recover offcuts.
4. UseSupport maintenance, spare parts and longevity.
5. End of lifeDirect materials to suitable recovery streams.

Our operational commitments

  • Prioritise robustness, repairability and spare-part availability.
  • Optimise cutting plans and limit avoidable waste.
  • Sort workshop waste and recover metals through suitable channels.
  • Reduce single-use packaging wherever technically possible.
  • Include safety, compliance and responsible criteria in purchasing.

Measure to improve

We monitor indicators relevant to our activity: material consumption, waste and recovery, packaging choices, transport optimisation, maintenance feedback and improvement actions.

Transparency: this page describes our direction and practices. It does not claim any environmental certification that has not been formally obtained.

A policy suited to professional and institutional projects

For public procurement, training programmes and custom projects, we can address requirements relating to durability, maintenance, packaging and logistics from the needs-definition stage. Relevant commitments are specified in the quotation or contractual documentation.
